Wife to popular Oyo monarch, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, Olori Kafayat is dead.

The queen was reported to have kicked the bucket on Friday, July 1, 2022. This comes barely two months after the death of the Alaafin of Oyo.

Although details of her death haven’t been revealed, sources confirmed that Olori died late on Friday night.

Olori Kafayat, popularly known as Iya Ibeji in the Oyo kingdom was the fourth wife of the late Oba Adeyemi, and the mother of Prince Adebayo Adeyemi, who is the chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Pensions Board.
