FULL RESULTS: Senator Adeleke Wins Osun Governorship Election | Daily Report Nigeria

Senator Adeleke Ademola has emerged winner of Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State.

Adeleke was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission, on Sunday morning.

The result was announced by the returning officer for the Osun governorship election, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Prof Oluwatoyin Ogundipe.

Senator Ademola of the Peoples Democratic Party polled 403,371 votes, winning 17 local government areas to emerge winner.

His closes rival and incumbent governor of the state, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, polled 375,027 votes to win in 13 local government areas.
