Human rights lawyer, Reno Omokri has claimed that Bishops and Christian clerics who attended the unveiling of Kashim Shettima as the All Progressives Congress, APC vice presidential candidate, are not members of the Nigerian Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN.
DAILY REPORT NG observed that on Wednesday, despite outrage by CAN and some other members of the Christian community in Nigeria over the Muslim-Muslim ticket, of the APC, some Bishops attended the official unveiling of the former Borno State Governor as Tinubu running mate for the 2023 presidential election.
Reacting via his official Facebook page, Reno, said the clerics are not members of CAN but ‘SCAM’.

According to him: “These are not CAN members that showed up at Tinubu’s Shettima unveiling. These are actually SCAM members. The real CAN members held a protest against the Muslim-Muslim ticket yesterday. The SCAM members belong to a different body!
“Ask APC for their names. Ask them to show their congregations. Who do they represent? Look at the photos.
