Popular columnist, Sam Omatseye has cried out after receiving death threats from alleged supporters of Peter Obi.
The writer had published a piece on his column with The Nation Newspaper titled Obi-tuary, where he labeled Obi as another person of Baifra separatist, Nnamdi Kanu.
The piece was widely greeted with condemnation from many Nigerians, especially supporters of the former Anambra governor.

Omatseye, in a tweet on his Twitter handle has called for Obi to be held responsible if anything happens to him.
According to the writer, supporters of Peter Obi have been bombarding him with calls and threats to his life since the article was published.
The columnist, who also works Television Continental (TVC) made tweeted thus;
“Mr. Peter Obi, call your supporters to order. They are calling and issuing death threats. If anything happens to me, you will be held responsible!!!!”
