A man has lost his life in a rather unusual incident after he fell into a pot of porridge.
In a video shared online, the man, identified as Muthuswamy could be seen staggering, before falling into the pot of boiling porridge in India.

It was gathered that the man was in charge of overseeing the preparation of porridge for an upcoming festival in Tamil Nadu.
Police have since launched an investigation into the tragedy.
