Kidnapped Nasarawa Commissioner Regains freedom | Daily Report Nigeria

Mohammed Yakubu Lawal, Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism in Nasarawa State, has regained his freedom from kidnappers.

He regained his freedom after spending five days in terrorists’ den.

A reliable source made this known to DAILY POST Friday night.

DAILY REPORT NG earlier reported that the terrorists kidnapped Lawal last Sunday in his hometown, Eggon, and subsequently demanded N100 million ransom to set him free.

It is However, not certain whether any ransom was paid to the assailants to secure the commissioner’s release.
