The 62nd Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has kicked off with the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, Chimamanda Adichie, in attendance.
This year’s theme is “Bold Transitions” and the program will hold from 19th to 26th August 2022.The opening ceremony of the conference is holding at the Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos.
This year’s conference has several technical sessions where speakers will lead conversations primarily aimed at envisaging the future of the legal profession in particular and Nigeria in general within the context of a rapidly changing world.

Nigerian bestselling author, Chimamanda Adichie will deliver the keynote speech at the event.
Atiku and Obi are also expected to speak in a panel session on the topic “Democratic Transitions in 21st Century Nigeria: 2023 and Beyond”
However, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, was missing at the event, though, his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettim was present.
