Chelsea open talks with Manchester City over a move for Nathan Ake.

Chelsea have reportedly opened talks with Premier League champions, Manchester City in a bid to sign defender Nathan Ake, this summer.

The Blues are interested in signing at least two central defenders this summer and Nathan Ake has recently been mentioned as a top target for coach Thomas Tuchel.

The German tactician wants to add more depth to the defense this summer following the exits of Antonio Rudigar and Andreas Christensen.

According to reports by Matteo Moretto, the two Premier League giants are now getting closer to an agreement for the Dutch international.

Thomas Tuchel previously tried to sign Ake while he was in charge of Borussia Dortmund.

However, it is rumoured that the 27-year-old is open to the idea of returning to London.
