However, his new contract at Liverpool has significantly doubled his wages, making him a top earner in the English Premier League.
The Egyptian forward will earn a whooping £400,000 a-week salary, which makes him the Premier League’s joint-second highest-paid player.
Cristiano Ronaldo retains the top spot as the league’s highest-paid player, pocketing a staggering £510,00 per week.
Other top earners are Kevin De Bruyne, who is on £400,000 a week same as Mohammed Salah, Chelsea’s N’golo Kante, who earns around £290, 000 a week, and Arsenal’s Thomas Partey, who is on £200,000 a week.
Tottenham striker, Harry Kane, Leicester City talisman, Jamie Vardy, are on £200,000 and £140,000 respectively .
