A magistrate court sitting in the Ajah area of Lagos has ordered the remand of hip-hop recording artist, Panshak Zamani, popularly known as Ice Prince at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre.
The singer was arrested on Friday for allegedly assaulting and abducting a policeman in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
According to the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, the music artiste was driving to a destination in the state when the police patrol team in the area stopped him around 3am for driving without license plates.

It was further said that the policemen insisted that he (Ice Prince) should visit the station. After agreeing, one of the policeman entered the vehicle.
The artiste, thereafter, abducted the policeman, assaulted and threatened to throw him in the river.
He was however arrested and arraigned on a three-count charge of assault, obstructing a policeman from carrying out his statutory duties and abduction.
When the counts were read before him, he pleaded not guilty.
Magistrate Taiwo Oyaniyi subsequently granted him bail in the sum of N500,000 adding that he is also to provide the court with two responsible sureties.
The Magistrate ordered that he be remanded in the correctional center until he fulfills his bail condition.
The case was further adjourned till September 7.
