Togo’s Prime Minister, Komi Klassou, has resigned position in the West African nation’s government.

Gnassingbe had congratulated Klassou with his team for their political, economic, social efforts and encouraging result in spite of the health crisis around the world.

The resignation comes after the expected political reshuffle in the African country since Gnassingbe was re-elected in office for a Fourth time.

The President election win, which came after a constitutional change in the country allowing him to run, extended more than a half-century of dynastic rule over the former colony by the Gnassingbe family.
