BREAKING: Ruto Sworn in as Kenya’s President | Daily Report Nigeria

William Samoei Ruto has been sworn in as President of Kenya.

The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Karasani Stadium, Kenya.

A live broadcast, showed Ruto publicly declaring the oath of allegiance as he appended his signature to the corresponding documents.
The new president’s oaths of office were administered by the chief registrar of judiciary.

Ruto has now become the fifth president of Independent Kenya, and the second ethnic Kalenjin after the late Daniel Arap Moi to hold the office.
