A Chinese expatriate in Nigeria has reportedly killed his supposed girlfriend, Ummukhulsum Sani Buhari, otherwise named Ummita, at Jambulo in Kofar Dukayuwa, Kano State.
A source from the Ummukulsum family said the deceased and the Chinese man were in a relationship but had a little misunderstanding recently.
It was gathered that Ummita had ignored her lover’s phone calls due to the misunderstanding.

The Chinese man subsequently headed to their home, and bang at their door repeatedly.
This made Ummita’s mother furious and decided to confront him.
When she finally opened the door, he pushed her and headed straight in to locate Ummita. There he stabbed, butchered, and slit her throat.
Photos from the scene were obtained by newsmen showing the floor of the room flooded with blood.
Netizens have since occupied Twitter with #JusticeForUmmita following the murder of Ummita.
