The Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Clem Agba, stated on Monday that the Federal Government is working to variegate the Niger Delta region through the implementation of emergency agricultural projects in the oil rich area.
The minister said this in Abuja at a stakeholders’ meeting on the proposed ‘Emergency Agricultural Projects in Diversification of Niger Delta and the Nation’s Non-Oil Economy.’
The agricultural projects that target the Niger Delta region and the nation’s non oil economy, according to the minister will have a range of benefits.
