The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has officially married a third wife, Tobi Philips few days after speculations that he would marry two women before his 48th birthday came forth.
The highly respected monarch’s wedding ceremony with his new bride, also an ex-beauty Queen, was held on October 9, 2022.
In a video clip that surfaced online, Philips was seen kneeling as she received blessings from her family.

The Ooni, however, wasn’t sent as he sent his guards, chief, and royal staff.
Tobi Phillips who won the World Miss University Africa (WMUA) in 2012, runs a popular fashion label QTP Luxury Fashion and has been a 3D artist since 2018. She is a native of Okitipupa, Ondo State, and has been with the Ooni for over six years.
This, however, would be Ogunwusi’s 6th marriage.
Recall that the Osun Monarch, before his coronation in 2016, was previously married to Adebukola Bombata in 2008 which failed after his coronation.
Thereafter, Ooni married Edo-born Zainab-Otiti Obanor in 2016, a union that separated after 17 months.
He again married Naomi Silekunola in 2018.
And, a few months ago, the King married Olori Mariam Anako from Ebira land in Kogi State and Olori Elizabeth Opeoluwa Ogunwusi nee Akinmuda.
