A Police officer identified as Abdulmumini Yusuf have reportedly been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Ilorin, Kwara State,
It was gathered that Yusuf, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) was kidnapped on Tuesday night while he was about entering his house in Ogidi, community in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State.

The Kwara state Commissioner of Police, Paul Odama, who confirmed the incident said efforts are being made to rescue the officer safely and also arrest the kidnappers.
Meanwhile, a 9-year-old baby has died after his parents abandoned him to engage in a physical brawl.
