Chelsea on Tuesday defeated Red Bull Salzburg 2-1 in the UEFA Champions League.

The win propels the Blues to the knockout stages of the premier club competition.

Junior Adamu drew Salzburg level three minutes into the second half to put pressure on the two time winners.

However, Kai Havertz grabbed all three points for Chelsea on 68 minute to secure Round of 16.

The win leaves Chelsea in first place in Group E with 10 points, while Salzburg occupy third place with 5 points.
