‘My Fiancé Hasn’t Dropped a Penny,’ Lady Calls Off Wedding 3 Days To D-day

A Nigerian lady identified only as Kemi says she has canceled her wedding due to her fiancé’s unforgivable behavior.

The young lady revealed that her decision was the man’s failure to release funds for the planning.

She said that since he engaged her and fixed a date for the wedding, she’s been handling all expenses.

Exhausted by his excuses that his money is in a fixed deposit, Kemi announced the cancellation just three days before the wedding.

This was after she visited her councillor for advice on the pending issue.

Kemi further claimed that her fiance promised to refund her every penny she would spend for the wedding afterwards.

She, however, decided to cancel the wedding, even though she wasn’t confident of her decision.

Kemi said:

“Just called off my wedding because of my fiancé’s nonchalant attitude. This guy hasn’t dropped one penny and wedding is in 3days, he keeps saying his money is in fixed deposit and that he will refund me. Spoke to a counselor and decided to call it off. Hope I did the right thing.”
