A certain Nigerian woman has reportedly bailed out her husband from police custody after he was detained for beating her up mercilessly.
The woman was said to have been rescued from her abusive husband by a family law clinic.
However, she went behind them to secure his bail when his family did not show up for him.

According to the clinic’s post on Facebook, the woman had claimed she had no money to foot the registration fee, but they were shocked when the development came.
The yet-to-be-properly identified woman said she had to bail her husband out because she could not watch him go to jail.
The Facebook post read:
“DO YOU REMEMBER THIS WOMAN?
We got her husband arrested and detained for doing this to her. His kinsmen refused to come to bail him out. They said he should die there. Guess who went behind us to bail him out? This is how the woman’s sister narrated it to us:
” ‘My sister paid 10k to bail the husband because his people refused to come. She said that even if they take man to court that he will still end up in prison and she can’t bear it. She had been the one paying all bills including rent because he’s not working.’
“OH GUESS WHAT!
The man nearly killed his wife in domestic violence. The wife came to DPA for help, but she had no 10k for her registrstion. So, we waived the 10k registration fee for her.
We then had her husband arrested and detained by the police. The man’s kinsmen refused to bail him. They thanked DPA and told us to deal ruthlessly with the bastard.
“But guess what! The lady sneaked behind us and bailed the man. The police asked her to pay money to bail him. And she begged the police before they accepted 10k from her. If she had gone about it through us, we would have gotten an undertaking from the man and we would not have paid for bail.
“Do you see how complicated human beings can be? No money for DPA, but there is money for the police. Lol.”
