The Osun State government on Thursday said it has uncovered debt in salaries, pensions, and insurance commitments incurred by the immediate-past administration of Gboyega Oyetola amounting to N76billion.

The Permanent Secretary in the State’s Ministry of Finance, Bimpe Ogunlumafe stated this while briefing officials of the new administration on the financial status of the State.

The statement by the Adeleke-led government is contrary to the claim by the immediate-past Governor that he left N14bn in cash in the state coffers.
