BREAKING: Gunmen Abduct Kogi Students

BREAKING: Gunmen Abduct Kogi Students | Daily Report Nigeria

Gunmen have reportedly abducted about four students from Kogi State Polytechnic.

The students, who were said to be returning home for the yuletide, were kidnapped along the Akunnu-Ajowa road, in the Akoko area of Ondo State.

They were ambushed on Friday, at Ago Jinadu Axis, in Akoko—an area understood for crimes, especially kidnapping.

Contacted, the Police Area Commander, in lkare, Muri Agboola, said his men have been combing forests along the Akunnu-Ajowa Akoko road to rescue the abducted students.

However, the state police command spokesperson, Funmi Odunlami was yet to be reached for comments as of press time.
