The Kano Police headquarters situated at Bompai, Nasarawa Local Government was on Saturday gutted by fire.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that the inferno left many offices and case files burnt to ashes.

However, the raging fire was put out by officials of the State Fire Service deployed to the scene.
Reports say the entire upstairs of the one-storey building was caught up with fire except the office of the State Police Commissioner, Mamman Dauda.
Cause of the inferno could not ascertain as the State’s Police Command was yet to comment on the incident as of press time.
