At least three persons were reported injured, on Thursday, when an explosion occurred at a rally ground of the All Progressives Congress in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
The rally took place at the Rumuwoji Playground.
Those injured were rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
Publicity Secretary of the APC, Darlington Nwauju, confirmed the incident to newsmen while describing the incident as “unfortunate.”
Meanwhile the Police spokesperson, Iringe-Koko was yet to comment on the event as of press time.
