Chicago prosecutor Kim Foxx on Monday announced the decision to drop sexual abuse charges against R&B singer R Kelly.
Foxx made this announcement in a press conference.
According to her, “justice has been served” with R Kelly already convicted for two federal charges that would see him serve time for decades.

Foxx said:
“We believe that justice has been served.
“Mr Kelly is potentially looking at never walking out of prison again for the crimes he’s committed.”
R Kelly was first convicted on racketeering and sex trafficking charges in 2021, and was jailed for 30 years.
Recall that in 2022, R Kelly was also convicted on another s3x related crimes, coercing minors into s3xual activity and producing sex tapes involving a minor.
Meanwhile, the singer is scheduled to be sentenced on this by February, reports insisted.
