Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko, popularly known by his stage name Adekunle Gold, is a Nigerian afrobeat singer and songwriter who has laid the blame for the country’s difficulties squarely on the shoulders of President Muhammadu Buhari.
This comes just a few days after Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade complained about Nigerians’ misery.
However, the crooner of “It is what it is” stated that the administration led by Buhari had only wasted eight years of Nigerian lives.

Adekunle Gold Surprises Wife, Simi at Live Show
Adekunle Gold stated in a tweet that the country has been going backward since the Buhari administration took office in 2015.
“This administration has squandered eight years of our lives. We regressed as a nation for eight years,” he wrote.
Adekunkle Gold revealed to his fans in 2022 that he was born with sickle cell disease and that he begged God to take his life at the age of 20 due to the unbearable crisis.
The singer has a daughter and is married to Simisola, the best vocalist in Nigeria.
