Irrelevant Without your Father’s Name – Peter Okoye

Amid the ongoing controversy over political support in the 2023 elections, Nigerian singer Peter Okoye has said that Seun Kuti, the Nigerian musician and youngest son of Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo Kuti is irrelevant without his father’s name.

Peter blasted Seun in a message he shared on his Twitter account on Wednesday.

The problem started when Seun called Peter Obi, the Labor Party’s presidential candidate, an opportunist.

Peter Okoye has come before Obi, causing a back and forth which led Seun to accuse him and his twin of running for Buhari’s presidency in 2015. In his response, Peter said, “We PSQUARE have not campaigned for presidential candidates except PETER OBI. We threatened President Buhari when he was inaugurated in 2015 YES. He was the president! Go check it out.

“My late father is not a person, but today everyone knows OKOYES. Dude, try removing “KUTI” from your name, let me see if it matters.

“Stay in your local temple as people like us and others continue to thrive on a global scale.
