Dozens of locals including women have been reportedly burnt to death following an explosion from a crude oil tapping point in Rumuekpe commumity in Emuoha Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Daily Report Nigeria gathered that the tragic incident occurred about 2 am on Friday when one of the buses loaded with crude went up in flames while trying to navigate to an illegal refining point in the area.
The Spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command, Grace Iringe-Koko confirmed the incident, saying,” The Divisional Police Officer in is already on his was to the scene.”
