The traditional ruler of Yaba in Abaji area council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu is dead.

The monarch’s demise was disclosed by a member of his family, Shuaibu Abdullahi, who notes that the Etsu of Yaba chiefdom died on his way to observe Magrib prayers within the palace.

Shuaibu said the 62-year-old monarch slumped suddenly and was to Abaji General Hospital by his aides, where he was pronounced dead.

He said;
“Immediately he slumped, they moved him inside the car to the hospital. But unfortunately on arrival at the hospital, doctors confirmed him dead.”

The late Etsu of Yaba was buried on Friday morning according to Islamic rites.
