A witness identified as Chinonso Ndukwe has expressed displeasure after Timothy, the honest mechanic who returned N10.8 million mistakenly sent to his account was rewarded with the sum of fifty thousand naira.
Ndukwe, who also revealed himself as one of Timothy’s customers made this statement on Facebook.
Sharing a photo he took with Timothy, Ndukwe said that the mechanic had been serving him well and that he was impressed by his feat after reading of it on the Internet.

He added that Timothy looked quite ill when he saw him and that the mechanic told him he had a headache.
According to him, although he learnt so much from Timothy after he met him in person on Tuesday, he argued that the reward Timothy received from the contractor was not enough.
He said:
“Before going on TV i went to my mechanic to ask him about what I saw all over the Internet yesterday. He has been serving me very well. So when I read that he returned 10.8 million to one of his customers i was impressed. Today when I saw him he was quite ill . He said he is having headache. The man that he returned his money gave him N50,000.00. People can be really unimaginable. Behold!”
