Alapala appreciated God and his constituents for entrusting him with their votes, while promising ‘not to undermine their trust.’

He said;

“I want to thank the Almighty God, who knows the end from the beginning, for the grace He has given to me throughout this journey for a course of building a better and greater Burutu Local Government Area as the representative for Burutu North State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly.

“I thank all our royal fathers, the various groups including drivers unions, okada riders associations, our religious, students union and opinion leaders and all other groups too numerous to mention across Burutu North constituency.

“I want to specially thank the good people of Burutu North Constituency for honouring me with their votes last week in the poll. I am deeply moved by the expression of confidence from all the units, villages, communities, wards, clans and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

“Not only have you entrusted with me the responsibility of speaking on your behalf as your representative, but you also continue to provide me with the ideas and feedback I need to do it as it should be done.

“My profound gratitude also goes to all our political leaders and members in the APC for their unalloyed support for my election.

“The overwhelming show of support I enjoyed as you turned out in your numbers to vote for me, I am grateful and I assure you all that you’ve made the best choice in electing me and I will not undermine your trust.

“Once again, I say THANK YOU for making me your voice in the next four years. To God alone be all the glory.”
