The All Progressives Congress, APC has denied expelling its governorship candidate in Delta state, Senator Ovie-Omo Agege from the party.
Reports had emanated on Monday that the executives of the party in the state led by its chairman, Ulebor Isaac had expelled Omo-Agege.
The letter dated March 30th cited anti-party activities amongst other allegations as reasons for Omo-Agege’s expulsion.

However, in a chat with Vanguard, the APC National Publicity Secretary of APC, Felix Morka, said the national body does not recognize the factional executive that expelled the Deputy Senate President.
Daily Report Nigeria recalls that Omo-Agege lost to the governorship election to the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Sheriff Oborevwori in the March 18th government election in Delta.
Omo-Agege scored 240,229 votes and was behind Oborevwori in the final results collated by a whooping 120,005 votes behind Oborevwori who scored 360,234 votes.
