Robbers have allegedly broken into a boutique in the late hours of thursday and made away with goods worth over 20million naira.

The shop owner who arrived at her shop in the morning found the shop keys intact without a scratch but getting into the shop to her utter dismay she discovered that all her goods including the clothes on the dummys were missing.

The robbers who took their time broke through the glass door, the iron door and the protector, packed every single thing in the shop and locked the shop as though nothing happened.

Report gathered states that the boutique which is located at no 3 Nnpc Housing Complex very close to Ekpan police station was said to have a security personel guarding the plaza, when he was questioned he said that he resumed duty 7pm and closed at about 6am and during this period he did not see anyone come into the plaza or break into any shop. But it is evidently clear that the shop was attacked as all the padlock was damaged.

A resident of the place also confirmed the incident stating that she heard the noise but did not respond because she thought and concluded that if theres any issue the security man should be there to handle it.

Investigation is still on going……
