A number of passengers have reportedly met their makers in a fatal accident that occurred on the night of Tuesday.

Likewise, others were burnt and incinerated quickly in the same accident which took place at Dungulbi.

The accident occured in the neighbourhood of the Muslim burial site in Bauchi State.

A source stated that fire gutted two vehicles about 9.20p.m following a direct collision course.

The scene of the accident is about 10 kilometres away from Bauchi metropolis along the Bauchi-Gombe Highway.

The witness mentioned that the collision was aftermath of the drivers attempting to evade a chuckhole.
