Yakubu Lawal, Nasarawa commissioner for information has regained freedom days after being abducted by gunmen.
The Nasarawa police command spokesperson, Ramhan Nansel, confirmed his release on Friday August 19.
It is however, unclear the amount that was paid in for the commissioner’s release.

According to Daily Trust, the kidnappers released Lawal-Addah after an undisclosed amount was paid to them.
He was released around 6pm on Friday August 19, and has since reunited with his family after being taken to the hospital for medical examination
Daily Report Nigeria recalls that Lawal was kidnapped by gunmen who stormed his residence on Monday night and whisked him away to an unknown destination.
The incident occurred in the Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area of the state. There were sporadic gunshots before the commissioner was abducted.
