Abductors of Emure-Ekiti School Pupils Demand N100m Ransom | Daily Report Nigeria

Abductors of the Apostolic Faith Group of Schools in Emure Ekiti pupils have demanded a ransom of N100m to be paid within a short period of time.

Gabriel Adesanya, the school’s proprietor made the development known to Punch, on Thursday, February 1, 2024.

Adesanya revealed that the abductors subjected the children to a series of maltreatment.

According to him, the kidnappers, during phone calls with the parents, would intentionally inflict harm on the children.

The heart-wrenching sounds of flogging and cries could be heard in the background.

He stressed that the kidnappers requested that if their demand is not met by Monday, they will take drastic action.

Gunmen had kidnapped the pupils a driver, and a teacher were kidnapped during the attack on Monday, January 29.

They were heading to Emure-Ekiti when their bus was seized at Eporo-Ekiti.
