Access Bank has strongly denied allegations made by social media influencer, Vincent Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan, who claimed that ₦500 million had vanished from a customer’s account.

The bank labeled the accusations as “baseless” and reaffirmed its commitment to ethical banking practices and customer fund security.

In a statement released on Sunday, Access Bank responded to the viral video posted by VeryDarkMan, which accused the bank of mishandling the account of a deceased customer and engaging in unethical practices.

“We have been made aware of a video circulating on social media that makes unsubstantiated claims about missing funds from a customer account,” the statement read.
