Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami recently shared his sorrow over a devastating accident he witnessed.
Taking to Instagram, he recounted the heart-wrenching scene where he saw numerous individuals fighting for their lives. Six lives were tragically lost, and many others were rushed to the hospital for urgent care.
Salami expressed gratitude for the swift response of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) but highlighted that the driver responsible was intoxicated, underscoring the perils of drunk driving.
Despite passengers’ efforts to dissuade the driver from his reckless behavior, he persisted, leading to the tragic outcome. In a heartfelt plea, Salami emphasized the importance of avoiding alcohol before driving, offering prayers for the departed and urging collective vigilance on the roads.
