The actress had made an appeal challenging her 90 days custodial sentence but was dismissed by a High Court sitting in Accra, Ghana.
In a ruling on December 1, 2021, presiding judge, Justice Ruby Aryeetey upheld the decision of the Circuit court, saying the decision was not manifestly excessive.
Justice Ruby then ordered for her son to be given to a competent person in her family for care, while Akuapem Poloo serves her sentence at the Nsawam Prison.
The actress then took to her Instagram account to share an emotional message to her seven-year-old son, as she kicks off her jail term.
She wrote; “SON I LOVE YOU AND GOD IS WITH YOU ALWAYS YOU KNOW 💋💋💋💋💋💋BE GOOD TILL MUMMY COMES BACK 🙏 GOD IS IN CONTROL ALWAYS”
