Actress, Funke Akindele-Bello, has expressed her excitement at the invitation to join The Academy class of 2022.
The actress has remained silent over her marriage crash with entertainment polymath, JJC Skillz.
The Academy had announced Akindele-Bello as one of the Class 2022 days ago.

Funke was invited to become a member for her award-winning movie “Omo Ghetto: The Saga,” and comedy series, “Jenifa”.
She however, chose to celebrate her latest accomplishment of being the only Nigerian actress to make the list of over 300 members invited to join the Oscar academy class of 2022.
Taking to her Instagram page Funke wrote, “Wow!!!! I’m so happy!!! Getting an invitation as a member of THE ACADEMY OF MOTION PICTURE ARTS AND SCIENCES (class of 2022) under the category of ACTORS, is such a BIG DEAL.”

The invitation comes amidst her separation from husband, Abdul Bello aka JJC Skillz.
