Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintri of Adamawa State has picked the governorship ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Adamawa Governor polled 663 of the 668 votes, with five of the votes declared void.

A former Secretary to the Taraba State Government (SSG), Gibson Kataps, who was the Chairman of the committee announced the results.

He declared Ahmadu Fintiri as the duly elected PDP governorship candidate for the 2023 general election.
