The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has commenced the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for its 2026 Ward, Local Government, State, and National Congresses.
The party, through its National Organising Secretary, Pa Idigo, announced on X that members seeking elective positions must purchase the relevant forms.

Ward-level Expression of Interest Forms cost ₦2,000, while nomination fees range from ₦3,000 to ₦10,000 depending on the post. At the state level, fees rise to ₦500,000 for State Chairman, ₦300,000 for State Secretary, and ₦50,000 for other state officers.

National Convention delegates pay ₦10,000 each.
Aspirants must secure nominators: Ward Chair candidates require 10, others five; LGA Chair, 20; other LGA officers, 10; State Chair, 50 with representation from each LGA; other state officers, 20. Each nominator pays a non-refundable ₦50 fee.
The sale and submission deadline is Friday, March 27, 2026, with screening scheduled for March 30–31. Congresses will begin with polling unit and ward meetings on April 7, LGA congresses on April 9, state congresses on April 11, and the National Convention on April 14.
Pa Idigo urged aspirants to comply strictly with the guidelines to ensure a smooth electoral process within the party.
