The African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Wednesday announced the names of its newly designated chairmen across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The list, which was made public through an update from the party’s National Secretariat, forms part of an ongoing nationwide structure update aimed at consolidating the party’s presence ahead of future political engagements.
According to the party, Hanatu Garaba was appointed for Plateau State, while Musa S. Shuaib will oversee Nasarawa. Adekolu O. Moses is the new chairman for Ekiti, and Patrick Obianyo will coordinate activities in Anambra. Other appointed chairmen include Hon Haruna Hassan for Bauchi, Otunba Pat. Olufemi for Ogun, Celestine Orbunda for Benue, and Mohammed Bolori for Borno.

Also on the list are Comrade John Ogar for Cross River, Austine Okotie for Delta, Jennifer Adibie N for Ebonyi, Kennedy Odion for Edo, and Iyke Nwoka for Abia. Stella Chukwula will serve Enugu, Mallam Danladi Yau takes charge of Gombe, and Duke Gabriel Dick leads in Akwa Ibom.
The Kaduna chapter will be chaired by Ahmed Tijani M, Ungogo Musa in Kano, Alhaji Usman Musa in Katsina, and Hajia Hawa Mohammed in Kebbi. John Adeli Udale assumes leadership in Kogi, Adebayo Akadi for Kwara, and George Ashiru in Lagos. In Ondo, Chief Mrs Ganiyu Sidirika was named chairman, Auta Mohammed in Niger, and Yohanna Shehu K in Adamawa.
Chief Emmanuel Amushe leads Imo, Charles Idowu in Osun, and Alhaji Yinka Adona in Oyo. Yusuf Tijani was appointed for the FCT, Ode Lawrence E for Rivers, Hon Umar Farouk for Sokoto, Adamu Hassan for Taraba, Alhaji Kalli Umar for Yobe, and Alhaji Kabiru Garba for Zamfara.

In a related development, the ADC addressed complaints in Akwa Ibom State where some individuals reportedly obtained membership cards without proper endorsement.
The party directed all affected members to return to the state secretariat in Uyo to have their cards signed by the state chairman and recorded in the official register.
The National Secretariat further advised members nationwide to verify their details at their local party offices to avoid future irregularities.
