Award-winning Nigerian musician, Adekunle Gold has been booked for an international concert.
The music star is said to perform alongside other artiste like Usher, Naira Marley, Monica and FKA Twigs at NPR’s Black Music month concert.
The concert is being held annually to mark Juneteenth, an American holiday to celebrate the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans, and has been scheduled to hold from the first of June to the 30th.
Speaking on what to expect this year, Tiny Desk Series Producer, Bobby said;
“We will publish eleven performances representing the past, present, and future of Black music. This is the first time each of the eleven acts will play the Tiny Desk”.
