English singer Adele has shared her struggles with gender and sexuality. Although she identifies as a straight woman, the multiple Grammy winner revealed that she often feels like “a gay man.”
During her recent sold-out show in Munich, Germany, the 36-year-old expressed feeling “trapped,” telling the audience, “I often think I’m a gay man trapped in a straight woman’s body.”
In a recent interview with German broadcaster ZDF, Adele announced she would be taking a break from music to explore new creative pursuits after the final leg of her ongoing tour in November.
