Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has reaffirmed his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The governor made the declaration in Osogbo while addressing members of the state executive council, special advisers, and other top officials.

Adeleke stated that ongoing tensions surrounding local government administration in the state have not affected his political alignment, stressing that his backing for Tinubu predates current developments.

He described the president as a leader of the South-West and maintained that supporting his re-election bid is in the region’s best interest.
“We have no problem with President Tinubu. He is our leader,” Adeleke said, reaffirming his endorsement.
The governor also commended residents for their continued support, noting that his political platform is gaining wider acceptance beyond Osun State.
He assured that his administration would sustain delivery of democratic dividends, with renewed focus on youth empowerment, women development, workers’ welfare, and investments in infrastructure, agriculture, education, and healthcare.
Adeleke further directed party leaders to intensify grassroots mobilisation through membership drives and voter engagement across all 332 wards in the state.
