Oluwatosin Adejumo presented with official letter in Osogbo
Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has appointed a roadside puff-puff seller, Miss Oluwatosin Adejumo, as a chef at the Government House in Osogbo.
The appointment letter was officially presented to Adejumo on Friday at the Government House, marking the fulfilment of a promise Adeleke made during a solidarity rally earlier in the year.
At the rally, held shortly after the governor returned from a short vacation, thousands of Osun public servants trooped out to show their support.
In the course of the gathering, Adeleke had beckoned on Adejumo, who was selling puff-puff by the roadside, and purchased all her snacks with N50,000 before offering her a role in the Government House kitchen.
In a video sighted by Tribune Online, Adeleke was seen engaging Adejumo from his bus, asking about the variety of meals she could prepare before instructing aides to take her details for immediate employment.

Adejumo, who holds a Nigerian Certificate in Education, was accompanied by her parents to Osogbo where she was formally received by the governor and presented with her appointment letter.
The development has been hailed by observers as both a populist gesture and a demonstration of Adeleke’s promise to uplift ordinary citizens through direct opportunities.
