The governor, widely known as the “dancing senator” for his energetic public performances during his time in the Senate, said dancing remains his personal way of relaxing and thanking God.
“I will keep dancing because I love to dance and praise my God,” he said. “Everybody has their own way of relaxing. My hobby is to dance, and it does not affect my work.”
His remarks come just a day after he resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and formally joined the Accord Party ahead of the 2026 Osun governorship election.
The Accord Party on Wednesday confirmed Adeleke as its governorship candidate after presenting him the party’s ticket during its primaries in Osogbo.
