Ademola Lookman shone in Atalanta’s 3-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in their UEFA Champions League match at the VELTINS-Arena on Wednesday night, contributing a goal and an assist.
Lookman played a key role in the team’s first goal, connecting with Switzerland’s Berat Djimsiti just 21 minutes into the match.
Ademola Lookman then extended Atalanta’s lead shortly before halftime, scoring the second goal with an assist from Saed Kolasinac.

Raoul Bellanova added the third goal for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side just three minutes into the second half. Lookman made way for Matteo Retegui in the 60th minute.
Atalanta’s next match in the competition will see them host Scottish Premiership champions Celtic.
