Earlier, the Director General of the Adowei Campaign Organization, Chief Chadwick Abadegbene expressed belief in the aspirant’s capabilities to serve in the role if elected.

According to Abadegbene, Adowei has played out the charity begins at home mantra by coming to seek the support of his family, and charged the people to return the favour by “beginning the support for Adowei’s ambition from home.”

“In all my years as a critical player in Burutu politics, I have not seen a more qualified individual than your son (Adowei) to lead Burutu Council.

“I’m very happy he is not a stranger to any of us. We are all aware of his philanthropic endeavours. With your support and prayers, we are certain that Burutu will have it like never before with him in power,” Abadegbene said.

Responding, the people expressed delight that a son of the communities is in the race for the seat, and declared their support for Adowei’s ambition.

Presiding Chairman of Sokebolou/Yokiri Federated Communities, Comrade Believe Anumu, described the aspirant as a square peg in a square hole, adding that the people are with him.

“We’ll render every support you need to be elected Chairman to the pride of Sokebolou and the entire Burutu Council Area,” Believe said.

“Adowei is fitting of this seat. Nobody is more qualified to lead Burutu at this point of history. Therefore, on behalf of the Sokebolou and Yokiri people, we declare our unalloyed support to your ambition.

Also speaking, Comrade Roland Dede, the National President of the Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council (OKYC), said ‘it gladdens my heart that a son of the soil has declared himself fit for this position.’

Comrade Dede charged “women, youths and men alike to throw themselves behind Adowei to ensure that he emerges victorious in the forthcoming election.”

On their parts, Chief Juliana Douglas and Comrade Peter Leleituwade, President Yokiri Community both pledged the support of the women and youths of the communities towards attaining victory for Adowei.

The aspirant subsequently received prayers and blessings for victory from the people ahead of the election.
