Adrien Rabiot recently made the move to Marseille on a free transfer after leaving Juventus.

At his unveiling, Rabiot reflected on his early love for Marseille, saying, “

When I was younger, I loved watching Marseille play. It was the era of players like Niang and especially Taye Taiwo. I admired his strength, presence on the pitch, and his incredible ability to score goals from the left-back position. Watching him and others inspired me to dream of one day wearing the same shirt.”

Taiwo had a successful six-year stint at Marseille, contributing to the club’s league title win in 2010 and two Coupe de la Ligue titles in 2010 and 2011.
